Prior to starting his company, Cohn served for eleven years with the NBA, most recently as the NBA’s Vice President of Team Ticket Sales in the NBA’s Team Marketing Business Operations Group.
In that role, Cohn would travel to different NBA teams every week, and act as in-house consultant and help teams with strategy, sales training, recruiting and sharing best practices.
During his time with the NBA, Cohn helped the NBA establish All- Time records in:
- Gate Receipts Revenue
- Number of Sellouts
- Season Tickets Sold
- Group Sales Revenue
Cohn is considered by many as the “Group Sales Guru”, and his “Five Steps Group Sales Process” has been published in many Sports Management Textbooks and recognized in the Sports Business Journal as well.
Cohn is a graduate of Robert Morris University and was inducted into their Sports Management Hall of Fame in 2005. He serves on the RMU Sports Management Advisory Board.
