The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program focuses on the use of technology to manage information in a business context. Courses cover the design and development of software systems, Web applications, programming, data structures, and user interfaces as employed in a variety of real-world situations. A capstone experience allows students to use their accumulated knowledge of the field in project design and implementation.
Our CS major is intended to prepare students for a job as a Software Developer, a Technical Project or Program Manager, or a variety of other technical roles. The Centenary program combines both Computer Science and Data Analytics to provide students with a robust set of skills to stand out.
Centenary University is proud to support the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) General Education Mobile (GEM) program. Our approved courses allow you to fulfill the 15 semester hours of general education requirements for the CCAF Associate in Applied Science (AAS). Get the foundational knowledge you need in these disciplines: oral communication, written communication, mathematics, social science, and humanities.
Through Centenary University’s participation in the CCAF GEM program, air and space professionals have access to courses through our innovative virtual classrooms. Learn online from anywhere, on your own time. Centenary will work with you individually to make sure you are getting the most from your education. Our online courses are scheduled in eight-week terms, and the cost per course is $900.
A B.S. in Exercise Science at Centenary University provides students with an in-depth knowledge of physiology, exercise and human performance in the advancement of wellness education and healthy lifestyles.
The B.S. in Exercise Science degree also provides students with the skills and experiential learning to take a certification exam and begin a career in health and wellness, fitness and training. Students graduating from the exercise science program are eligible to apply for certification as a fitness trainer (personal trainer), performance enhancement specialist, strength and conditioning coach, and exercise physiologist. The proposed course sequence is specifically designed to serve as the foundational degree to meet the application requirements for multiple advanced degrees, including Master of Athletic Training program and Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Students in this program will complete a training course and receive a First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
B.S. in Health Sciences at Centenary University provides students with an interdisciplinary exposure to a wide variety of careers in the healthcare industry.
Individuals who complete a B.S. in health science can work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, research laboratories, public health organizations, rehabilitation facilities and government agencies. Job opportunities for graduates in health science would include non-clinical roles with direct patient interaction, such as a health journalist, community health educator or pharmaceutical sales representative. A few possible career pathways would include:
- Clinical health: occupational therapist, physical therapist, physician assistant, or dental hygienist
- Healthcare administration: Medical and health services manager, medical records technician, or health informatics specialist
- Public sector: Epidemiologist, public health officer, or health education trainer

By 2027, employers will need nearly 88 million individuals in project management-oriented roles. Project management is definitely a good career offering high salaries and plenty of variety at work, but it’s also a demanding job that can be highly stressful at times. All companies initiate projects to increase revenue, minimize cost, and boost efficiency. Project Managers are critical to these initiatives.

Project managers are critical to businesses as they directly influence productivity and the ability to produce profits. Project managers are known for their talents in setting goals, creating a plan, tracking progress, and keeping their teams motivated. After earning in a degree in business with a concentration in project management from Centenary, students will be ready to pursue the PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
A B.S. in Public Health at Centenary University provides you with an interdisciplinary course of study using the critical topics of social and behavioral sciences, epidemiology, public policy, statistics and health sciences. This is a versatile degree that allows you to develop common public health knowledge and to concentrate in a specific area of particular interest, e.g., global health or community psychology. The public health-specific courses were developed in cooperation with leading public health officials to prepare you with knowledge of public health systems, research methods and data analysis and to utilize this knowledge in two internships during your junior and senior years. These internships in a public health sector will prepare you to create practical learning experiences by applying the knowledge and techniques acquired during the didactic courses.
Individuals who complete a Bachelor of Science in Public Health can work in a variety of settings, including community clinics, public health organizations, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and corporations. Public health graduates are prepared to work as community health educators, epidemiologists, occupational health and safety practitioners, and environmental health technicians. Graduates can also use this degree to start a graduate degree in public health, epidemiology or pursue a medical degree when completing additional medical school requirements.

Supply chain managers oversee production flow of goods or services from start to finish. The Supply Chain Management concentration at Centenary is integrated with the Business Administration curriculum to provide students with refined skills that will enable them to pursue careers as logistic managers, transportation managers, purchasing managers, and supply chain mangers working in operations or logistics departments across a multitude of industries.
