Prior to arriving at Centenary, Dr. Saba was a classroom teacher at the Marian McKeown Elementary School in Hampton Township Sussex County, New Jersey. During his 30 years with the district, he was a sixth grade teacher primarily in Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. He also served as the district’s technology coordinator for 10 years pioneering the use of technology for teaching and learning.

At Centenary, Dr. Saba teaches in both the undergraduate teacher preparation program and the online Masters of Education in Educational Practice. He also serves as the coordinator for the online Masters program. In addition, Dr. Saba coproduces professional development workshops for area teachers for the Centenary Teachers’ Academy. He is also one of the CAEP Accreditation Coordinators which provides accreditation for the Education Department certification programs.

During his doctoral sabbatical, Dr. Saba served as the Assistant Director of the Educational Technology Resource Center for the College of Education at Lehigh. He provided technology support for school districts in the Lehigh Valley, PA. He specializes in online learning and the use of technology in classrooms for teaching and learning.
